How to even describe this one? If Novak Djokovic plays a no-look, around-the-body, pirouette, flat backhand winner and nobody sees it, did it really happen? It’s a question worth pondering after the World No. 1 tennis player produced an incredible new shot, not in front of a packed stadium and millions of TV viewers, but on an isolated practice court in Belgrade. This shot proved there’s just no one who matches up to him right now in tennis.

This new, incredible shot saw the 28-year old Serbian superstar, who beat Roger Federer in the US Open final a fortnight ago, turning back and returning a backhand without actually looking at the ball. The shot seemed so unreal that Djokovic was ecstatic and went on to chest-bump one of his teammates.
The stroke, which left Djokovic’s hitting partner motionless, was captured & uploaded to the internet where it has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
