Harsh Goenka, the brother of Pune team owner Sanjeev Goenka, has been once again trolled on Twitter after he made a tweet about Rising Pune Supergiant’s win over Kolkata Knight Riders. After RPS team won against Kolkata Knight Riders on their own soil, co-owner of Rising Pune Supergiant, Harsh Goenka highlighted the efforts of few RPS players who had performed extraordinarily in their recent victories.
Harsh Goenka took to Twitter and named the likes of naming the likes of Rahul Tripathi, skipper Steve Smith along with the bowlers Stokes, Tahir who have made an impact in the recent game.
But soon he was bashed by the supporters on his Twitter handle for not including MS Dhoni’s name in the post.
Earlier this year, the decision makers of Rising Pune Supergiant sacked Dhoni as captain and handed over the responsibility to Smith. The move surprised each and every cricket fan especially Dhoni fans. Dhoni also suffered scoring runs in the first few games which made Harsh Goenka take a dig at Dhoni.
Harsh received a lot of backlash due to the tweet he posted after the match-winning performance of their captain Smith against the Mumbai Indians. His tweet backed their decision of sacking Dhoni and tweeted saying,
Later, RPS found themselves in an indifferent situation and Dhoni’s innings against Sunrisers sparked a revival of the Pune-based franchise. After Dhoni smashed match winning knock, Goenka awkwardly lauded the efforts.
The Supergiant team is in superb form at the moment as they superseded top teams from the bottom half of the table, to place themselves at the no. 3 position in the points table. However, the co-owner can be predicted with his tweet last night as he named all the heroes in their team who were responsible for some important victories in the recent matches.
People slammed Harsh Goenka for not mentioning MS Dhoni name in the list of his appreciated players. MS Dhoni fans were furious and replied to his tweet to make him realize his mistake.
