In the big nail-biting final of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier league, the luck started in favor of Mumbai Indians with the toss. As both the captains wanted to bat first, MI got the opportunity to set the target to the first time finalist Rising Pune Supergiant.
But soon the whole situation changed in favor of RPS as their bowlers started well taking wickets quickly. Even the skipper Steve Smith looked with deferred feeling as the match was under control of his team.
Jaydev Unadkat like he has done earlier in the tournament gave his team a breakthrough and made it two with a brilliant return catch to dismiss Lendl Simmons after setting Parthiv Patel on his way back. RPS took three quick wickets and MI was on the back at that moment.
Ambati Rayudu and Rohit Sharma was in the crease playing a few balls which calmed the nerves and with the singles going tried to consolidate things. MI were 41/3 in 7.2 overs and things didn’t look good.
Meanwhile, the moment of joy made the Rising Pune Supergiant Twitter handler to tweet something about the situation and the upper hand against MI. The Supergiant Twitter handle posted an image of Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma with a caption ‘Throwback with a crying emoji’.

They seem that it wasn’t enough and added tears ticking down Rohit’s eyes on the image. They got carried away and posted a shameful post:
Even though the team was on top and the game was turning towards their way, it is never considered a healthy gesture in the gentleman’s game to humiliate the opponent which they did here quite intentionally.
Understanding the mistake, RPS Twitter handlers eventually pulled the tweet off but Twitterati already started criticizing for it by that time.
