Sachin Tendulkar, India’s most prominent and admired cricketer has made his entry into Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament. But, it seems that his career is politics is quite rudimentary, with almost no attendance into this Parliament’s vital house despite being an MP has roped in major criticism to this former cricketer.
In regard to this, the House authorities sent a letter to him on the lack of attendance, demanded a minimum presence in the political house and present his views accordingly.
This discussion in the Upper house started when Naresh Agarwal, a Samajwadi party member demanded the presence of celebrities, it is heard that the politician specifically targeted Sachin Tendulkar and Rekha.
“Sachin Tendulkar and Rekha should resign if they are not interested in Parliament,” said Agarwal.
The details from Rajya Sabha’s official site claims that Sachin attended just two out of 25 sessions in last year’s winter session. In the budget session this year, he attended only 1 out of 8.
This news surfaced Internet after Sachin attended the house on Thursday, and this roped in plenty of trolls and memes on the same, Sachin is brutally trolled on Twitter.
