Virender Sehwag Trolls VVS Laxman In His Own Style Over Rain Gods Hampering Eliminator

The most awaited Eliminator match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders saw the rain gods taking away the hopes of KKR. As expected from the morning, the rain gods have taken away the center stage during the match.

As soon as the first innings got completed by the SRH team, a heavy downpour hit the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. KKR obviously stood in a commanding position with SRH managing only 128/7 at that stage. Whereas, VVS Laxman, the SRH mentor was seen worried.

Well, in all fairness, it was not only VVS Laxman who was worried at that point of time. The entire fan base of the defending champions had their hearts in their mouths. One of their top bids was to see the match getting washed out. A wash out in the Eliminator would have meant that the Sunrisers Hyderabad would have advanced to the Qualifier 2.

The Knight Riders hoped for the rains to subside. On the contrary, the men in orange had the hopes of seeing a washout. Meanwhile, the Nawab of Najafgarh Virender Sehwag took this situation and trolled his former teammate VVS Laxman.

We all know that Sehwag never misses a chance of trolling his mates with his witty thoughts and a great sense of humor. But this time, Viru proves that he is even more intelligent by taking a subtle dig at Laxman in very little time.

He posted a picture of Laxman and had a few priests in another frame. He quoted that the SRH mentor is perhaps praying for rain to continue pouring. He tweeted,

It’s a great time to troll Laxman, isn’t it? That’s some great piece of humor from Sehwag. However, KKR won the match as the referees cut down the match for 6 overs and KKR could chase it in just 5.2 overs and qualify for the Qualifier-2 against Mumbai Indians.
