We all know how aggressive and swift was Shahid Afridi on the field, being a prominent Pakistani Captain and a fine hitman one cannot simply deny in admiring this former player. Having played 20 years in Pakistan National team, we can assume that Afridi is quite a master of the game.
He has been a pillar of strength for Pakistan’s claim to glory in international cricket and one of the finest all-rounders ever produced by Pakistan. Afridi enjoys a huge fan following not only in Pakistan but also in other parts of the world, especially India. Time and again, he has shown his love and respect to Indian cricketers & he too has been getting a lot of affection in return.
There might have been bitter moments between Afridi and Indian players on the field, but he has always been an upright man off the field. Off the field, he has often shared a good rapport with Indian cricketers and has never hesitated from appreciating Indian players.
We had recently seen him in a video when he showed his love and respect to the Indian flag in Switzerland. In the video, Afridi was seen asking his girl fan to hold the Indian flag properly while clicking a photo. Our respect for him has increased 100 times after watching this video.
Shahid Afridi is currently gearing up for Pakistan Super League 2018 (PSL), where he will play for Karachi Kings this year. This year, PSL will see a total six teams battle for the title – Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, and Multan Sultans.
PSL 2018 is set to start today (February 22) in UAE and Afridi has already started smashing the balls. Yes, you read it right. A video of Pakistani all-rounder is circulating on the internet and has already drawn a lot of attention. And the video features Shahid Afridi and Shoaib Malik. Afridi can be seen giving Malik some tough times in the clipping.
