The Former Captain cool of India, MS Dhoni hasn’t had the best of seasons so far and has been in the news for his below par performance.
Recently, he has been scrutinized and targeted by many on Twitter upon his performance. One of the owners of the RPS Harsh Goenka himself tweeted about Dhoni’s performance and dropping him as a Captain. Later, the haters of the star cricketer or perhaps the one who feel that it is the end of the career of MS Dhoni started trending the hashtag of #DhoniDropped.
But in the recent match as a reply to his haters, the wicketkeeper showed signs of form as he scored 28 runs off 25 balls against RCB. His 25-ball 28 included 3 boundaries and a massive six off Yuzvendra Chahal which hit the roof of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Earlier, Harsh Goenka made some anti-Dhoni remarks on Twitter which did not go down too well with the former India captain’s fans. Harsh faced severe criticism following his tweet on Dhoni after the RPS defeated Mumbai Indians by seven wickets in their first match.
Whatever his intentions might be, Twitterati bashed him left and right for his tweets and Sakshi Dhoni, who remains calm most of the time, took on to her twitter handle and tweeted something that gave a bashing answer to Harsh Goenka.
Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer, Shane Warne has come in support of the most successful Indian captain.
Yes, Warne took to micro-blogging site Twitter to shut the mouths of all the critics who have been taking heavy digs at Dhoni.
In his tweet, Shane Warne noted that MSD is a class player. There is absolutely no need for someone of Dhoni’s stature and caliber to be proving himself. He has done enough in his career to stand at the helm of Indian cricket.
Warne added that Dhoni is equally capable in all the three formats of the game.
Here is his tweet:
.@msdhoni does not have to prove anything to anyone, he’s class & a wonderful player in all formats. MS is also a great captain & inspires !

Adding further, he also took a subtle dig at the ones who believed that Dhoni’s supremacy as a leader has dwindled over the period of time.
Recently, the Rising Pune Supergiant of the IPL had sacked MS Dhoni as the captain of their team. Shane Warne believes that Dhoni is a phenomenal leader and is an inspiration to an entire generation of players in the world of cricket.
