Indian team amassed massive runs as the openers both Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan bagged some back-to-back bullet shots all the way. While Dhawan withdrew from the ground after getting an easy fifty notching another thirty runs with the wholesome of 80 runs in the pocket.

Rohit stood still bagging more till he clinched the same 80 runs against the Kiwis. Some splendid shots from the duo were as expected, but, it was this stunning sixer from Dhawan that breathed out the air from the crowd. This happened in the fifth ball of the 14th over while New Zealand bowler Southee was on the bowling side.

Just as Southee dropped the ball, it was an immediate sixer. The off-cutter from Southee outside off, Dhawan brought his bat down like a hammer and murdered the pull over deep mid-wicket. Flat and long! This shot is so far the show stopper of the day.
