The rivalry between India and Australia in cricket was always there, but, what all good as it didn’t cross the borders, boundaries or game. Players so far have never messed up things outside, the crowd was fine and nothing went against the game spirits outside the ground.
So far, India is considered as one of the safest players for the cricket tournaments. Everything was fine until yesterday, till the picture of broken window glass of the bus surfaced the Internet. This picture was shared by Australian incumbent skipper David Warner. This drew some serious concerns in terms of security and safety of the foreign players.
This incident took place after the players and staff were traveling from Busapara Stadium back to their team hotel in the eastern city. Cricket authorities said, “believed to be roughly the size of a cricket ball, in a remarkable piece of good fortune, no one was sitting on the seat next to the window when it was broken.”
The report from the CA further added, “While no one was injured, the Australian players were understandably shaken up by the incident.”
However, this time, Aussies’ opening batsman Aaron Finch shared the picture of the incident on Twitter, he wrote, “Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!”

However, this is not the first time for Kangaroos. Back then Australia’s team bus was also struck by a rock in Bangladesh five weeks ago in Chittagong.
While all this has drawn the attention of mainstream media, Indian players, board and the whole cricket fraternity condemned it. Bowler Ashwin Ravichandran has opened up about the same on his twitter handle, he bashed the crowd by reminding some “disciplinary tips”.
He wrote, “The stone thrown at the Aussie team bus shows us in bad light, let’s all act more responsibly. A vast majority of us are capable of that”.
