PSG Striker, Neymar, will miss the first three matches of PSG in the UEFA Champions League next season.
The ban comes after the Brazilian insulted the referee after their disappointing loss against Manchester United.
The ban was initially placed on Neymar in April, but PSG decided to contest the decision by the board.
The final decision for the ban was handed out on Wednesday, UEFA said,
“The appeal lodged by PSG is rejected. Consequently, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body’s decision of April 25 is confirmed.”
Neymar, who is the world’s most expensive footballer, was ruled out of the match as he had an injury.
Neymar was watching the match from the stands, he was disappointed after the referee handed out the decision after looking at the VAR.
The VAR rewarded a penalty to Manchester United, Rashford scored the penalty and knocked PSG from the Champions League.
Neymar then dedicated a post for the incident, he said. “It’s a disgrace. They get four guys who don’t understand football to watch a slow-motion replay in front of the TV.”
