The third Test match between India and South Africa has so far been on South Africa side. South African bowlers had done a good job on the first day of the match. As the pitch in Nagpur is convenient to the spin bowlers, even fast bowlers showed their mark on the ground. Not even a single Indian player had scored half century.

Morne Morkel has taken three wickets. His bowling was quite hard for the Indian batsmen to face. Morkel bowled few bouncers in the match to prevent batsmen scoring runs. One of the bouncers bowled by Morkel to Murali Vijay was hard to him to face and the ball hit Vijay’s hand and the bat. However, Vijay survived from getting injured.
