MS Dhoni had created many records in Cricket, but he comes from a football background. Before switching to Cricket, Dhoni was a goalkeeper. He loves the game a lot and he is a big fan of English Premier League club Manchester United. Though Dhoni was very busy practicing for the first match against New Zealand in T20 World Cup, he took time out to express his joy over the deal that has been agreed between Manchester United and Gulf Oil International.
Gulf has become the first ever Oil and lubricant company to have a partnership with Manchester United. The company owned by Hinduja group signed a three-year deal with the club to help engage the large United fan base in Asia, specifically in China, India, and the Middle East.
Dhoni is a brand ambassador for the Gulf and was very pleased with the deal which brought his favorite club together with the company he represents. Dhoni is a keen follower of the Premier League.
In an interview he said, “I am an avid EPL fan and I just played out a real situation in front of the camera, If I am not busy with cricket, I am always busy with EPL during weekends. Football is extremely exciting and very close to my heart. I was a goalkeeper during my school days. Even today, I play football as a warm-up game ahead of key cricket matches.”
