This year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) has become of the disappointing seasons for The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Despite great, experience, and destructive players, the team could only manage to win 3 matches out of 14. This itself reflects the kind of hardships and criticism RCB team had to endure in the last couple of months.
RCB skipper Virat Kohli who had a wonderful season last year did not have the best of times in the ongoing IPL tournament. As Virat didn’t get to play few of the beginning matches of IPL 2017, people especially RCB fans expected that Virat’s return could bring back the momentum to the side and find success like he did last year.
However, this year, neither did Virat Kohli replicate his heroics from the past, nor did his team respond in fine fashion. Eventually, they found themselves at the bottom of the points table. The fans were unhappy after the results and Virat Kohli, too, was disappointed for having underperformed this season.
We all know Virat Kohli’s usual attitude on the field, whether it’s a fielder drops a catch or misunderstanding between the wickets while batting, and if a bowler from the opposition rubs him the wrong way. But there are also moments when Kohli uncovers the kind-hearted, generous people’s person in him.
During the last league between RCB and DD, Virat’s 45-ball 58 helped his team win the match and end the tournament with a win. However, Virat became the FBB Stylish Player of the Match. Virat soon after receiving the award was seen running towards the stands, jumping over the advertising hoardings and giving away his award to the fans.

In the 10 matches that he played, he scored 308 runs at an average just over 30 with 4 fifties. Let’s hope RCB and Virat Kohli would bounce back and perform well in the next season.
