This year has been a great start for the youngster Rishabh Pant. Right from the day one of the IPL, Pant has been delivering some massive shots and winning hearts around the world.
We all know that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli is one of the most aggressive players on the field. In the heat of the moment, Kohli doesn’t mince words and lets his intentions known.
However, in the latest do-or-die clash against Delhi Daredevils (DD), Kohli did not lose his cool despite the constant chatter that has been storming his ears from behind the stumps from wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant who was trying to boost the confidence of 17-year-old debutant Sandeep Lamichhane.
It all happened when Kohli took to the crease on the second ball after the powerplay overs, Pant was still cheering the Nepalese leg-spinner. Kohli finally gave a response to Pant’s constant clapping, turned, stared at him for a while and then smiled. The two exchanged a few words after that instance.

If you’re not aware of this, then know that both Pant and Kohli are from Delhi, and the two have also shared the Indian dressing room. Kohli played a match-winning knock and scored 70 runs from 40 deliveries, including 4 fours and 3 sixes. He edged one to Pant off Amit Mishra’s bowling and shared a crucial partnership of 118 runs for the third wicket with AB de Villiers.
