There was one thing that had taken over all our timelines over the last few weeks and it is Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s wedding. Both tied the knot in a private ceremony with family and a few friends in attendance in Tuscany, Italy. And the wedding was one of the most romantic, dreamy and fairytale-like weddings of 2017.
Soon after their wedding, the couple came to India to have grand celebrations with friends, family, and colleagues. The newlywed was busy in the two receptions held in New Delhi and Mumbai. And now, the celebration time came to an end the Indian skipper had to move to South Africa for their upcoming Test series.
In fact, the newlyweds have recently spotted at the airport ahead of the South Africa tour where hubby, Virat most probably will show off his expertise on the field! Not to exert pressure but looking at the winning streak throughout 2017, the men in blue are sure to put up a good fight and chase.

Before leaving South Africa, the Indian captain and the coach were seen in a press conference regarding their tour. Virat who had skipped the limited overs series against Sri Lanka to get married was asked if how difficult will it be for him to return to cricket post the marriage celebrations.
“Not difficult at all, I was away for something (marriage) which is much more important. That is a period that will always remain special for both of us. Switching back to cricket is not difficult at all because it is in my blood like it is for every other team member and the team management as well, so getting back to professional front is not difficult at all,” he said.

“I haven’t done anything in the past three weeks. I have been training to get back to play in South Africa. Somewhere in your head you are always thinking about you have something important coming up, so subconsciously you are looking forward to it (South Africa tour). So, mentally I am very well prepared,” added Virat.
That’s the captain we love and respect, isn’t it? Kohli scored 2818 international runs and 11 centuries in 2017. Team India is heading to South Africa for a tough tour where India play three Tests starting January 5. The Tests will be followed by six ODIs and three Twenty20 Internationals.
Good Luck Team India for South Africa Tour.
