In the ongoing first Test match between India and England, Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has become the victim of a rare mode of dismissal on the fourth day in Rajkot. Having moved smoothly to 40, Kohli went well inside the crease to pull a short, but he didn’t think that this could happen.
Virat Kohli was playing a pull shot off leg-spinner Adil Rashid bowling. As he stepped back, his back foot disturbed the stumps and the bail was dislodged. He played it going deep into the wickets that his leg stuck the wickets and he was dismissed hit-wicket. England Wicket-Keeper has appealed that Virat hit the wickets. Even Virat was looking unbelievable.

The Indian skipper, who does not have a good record against England. He could not believe his luck. He is the 22nd Indian batsmen to be out hit wicket. After VVS Laxman was out hit wicket 14 years ago, Virat Kohli is the first Indian batsmen to be out hit wicket.
Kohli is the first Indian Test skipper to be out hit wicket since Lala Amarnath in 1949.
