We all know that Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is one of the most entertaining players on the field and his destructive batting makes everyone feel happy and enthralled. Even after his retirement, he has a similar approach when he is commenting and on social media.
He is so good at pun-liners and sarcasm with equal mastery and aggressive. He grabs the headlines every once in a while with his wicked sense of humor, witty and funny trolls and tweets.
He had revolutionized Hindi commentary in the recent months and today on the opening day of the 1st Test at Rajkot between India and England, he showed his talent. Soon after England Captain Alastair Cook was dismissed, Joe Root walked down to the middle, one of the most celebrated batsmen of modern days.
Sehwag’s Pun-Liner:
Sehwag said that India needed to get him off cheaply. But once Root got his eyes set, the former Delhi batsman exclaimed quite hilariously, “Is Root Ki Sabi Liney Vyast Hain,” which seemed very apt for the moment.
However, Root went on to prove Sehwag right with his predictions, as he went on to scored 124 off 180 balls. Root and Moeen Ali’s partnership strengthened their team’s side.
