Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman is celebrating his 42nd birthday today. Laxman is known for his Test playing skills and he was also named as the “God of India’s 2nd innings”.
Laxman was a prolific scorer in domestic cricket, before being called up to play for the Test team. Laxman had some brilliant seasons with Hyderabad and was known for scoring big double centuries. He made his Test debut against South Africa at Ahmedabad in 1996.
He was the backbone of the Indian middle order. Laxman builds up a reputation of his own among legends of the game in Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag.
As VVS Laxman is celebrating his birthday, it’s time for Sehwag to wish his former teammate as he never forgets and misses the chance of wishing his friends and teammates.
Here’s how Sehwag wished VVS Laxman:
