Laxman, Agarkar & Aakash Chopra Faces The WRATH Of Netizens For Criticizing Dhoni’s Form In T20I
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the players who earned more honors, or garnered more laurels for Indian team has been playing for Team India for 12 years. Started off with the world cup in T20 Internationals, he led India in winning several other crucial trophies all the way which was usually unexpected and never earned before.
Once again after a while, the discussion on Dhoni’s retirement has come out after India lost the T20 match to New Zealand yesterday. At that point of the match when Dhoni is on strike, India needed more than 10-12 runs an over, the former captain struggled to get going and thereby put pressure on his partner, who was looking good for a three-figure score.
After all, now that, it is pretty clear that Dhoni is not playing as he did before. There are certain comments on taking him down, which were clearly on screen with the slip in his striking position. Considering the poor form of the 36-year-old Dhoni former Indian players VVS Laxman, Ajit Agarkar and Akash Chopra have opined their ideas on his retirement.
While Laxman said that Dhoni’s is blocking a way for the young players, Agarkar added that there are many other deserving players. Aakash Chopra went criticising Dhoni for his performance in the second T20 I against New Zealand.
Soon after these comments from the veterans, other senior players like Sehwag, Ganguly and Ravi Shastri has come out to the rescue of Dhoni. They backed him, went adding that Dhoni is doing good, and one cannot decide his fate based on a single match. Skipper Kohli has also come forward backing the former captain cool.
But, Twitterati lost its cool over the ongoing discussions, bashed the trio- Laxman, Agarkar and Chopra blue and black on the Internet. They stiffly quoted that no one can drop any opinion on Dhoni. Check out the Twitter reactions here:
@cricketaakash u r such an amazing commentator, but u shouldn’t argue or questionnaire on Dhonis place in India team.

@cricketaakash asking @msdhoni to retire from T20. What a joke! Ur recommendations are annoying as your commentary. He has given more to 🇮🇳 cricket than u would in ur entire life time. Learn from @imVkohli @RaviShastriOfc on supporting the legends #MSDhoni #legend

@imAagarkar comments on @msdhoni truely tells your personality. He is always a master of limited cricket . I think you must respect him. And your comments on dhoni are like local MLA commenting on PM’s job

People who are asking to drop #MSDhoni firstly ask them what they have done for India they were good for nothing like @imAagarkar #akashchopra
