Though team India lost the ODI series to Australia, the fifth and final match of the series has been sensational that created lot of records at the venue. Manish Pandey has scored an unbeaten 104* while India chasing down a record 330 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Manish Pandey got a lucky break when he replaced Ajinkya Rahane for India’s fifth and final ODI. MS Dhoni played a crucial role in Manish Pandey’s debut hundred.
In the last over, Dhoni played an intelligent innings with Manish. Dhoni hit the first ball of the over to a stunning six that made India get near to the target. In the second ball, Dhoni played it same as the previous ball which was caught by David Warner.
As Dhoni realized that he is going to get out, called Manish to get passed him as he can take the strike for the next ball to score the century. Thus, Manish followed his Captain and eventually scored his first International century.
