In the on-going 3rd Test match between India and England, team India has been building up a good score and lead after the visitors fall for just 283. After Ravi Ashwin’s wonderful 72 runs, it’s his mate Ravindra Jadeja who took up the responsibility of building a good total in the first innings.
On the 3rd day of the 3rd Test, Jadeja scored a decent fifty in 104 balls. As we all know that Jadeja is fond of celebrating the moments then and there, he lifts the bat and celebrates in his own traditional style.
He celebrated the moment if the bat brandishing as if it is a sword and put on display once again at Mohali. This is the 3rd Test fifty for Jadeja against England and was indulged in wa=hat he has come to be known as ‘Sword Dance’. This is also now Jadeja’s highest Test score, eclipsing the 68 he had made in Lord’s.

This isn’t the first instance of Jadeja’s sword dance. It gathered plenty of eyeballs when he did the same during his first Test fifty celebrations at Lord’s in 2014. The second instance came more recently when he reached the fifty mark against New Zealand in what was Kanpur’s first Test match at the Green Park.
