Indian veteran cricketer Yuvraj Singh turned 36 today. The left-arm swashbuckling batsman is indeed one of the most loved cricketers in the country. He is always remembered for playing an instrumental role in India’s 2011 World Cup victory.
He has contributed both with bat and ball and even won the Player of the Tournament award. He has been receiving loads of birthday wishes on social media since midnight.
Hours before turning 36, Yuvraj took to his Instagram and uploaded a picture of himself. It soon created a stir on social media. He posted a bare-body picture and captioned it saying, “Trying to get a six pack for my birthday I think it should come by tomorrow what say?”
He even tagged his mates from the Indian cricket team including Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, and Rohit Sharma. Within no time, Zaheer’s wife Sagarika Ghatge took a funny dig at Yuvraj and Zaheer saying, “Zak has only one pack ready. Sure you can borrow that.”
It is kind of obvious that no one can reach the goal of six pack abs in one day. Looking at Yuvi’s body, which at the moment is far from being at the six pack-level, it is sure that he wouldn’t be able to have his dream body till his birthday and that he just wanted to make a lighthearted post on his Instagram page.
Though Yuvraj has been out of the national team since India’s tour of West Indies, his contribution can never be forgotten. He is one of those players who displayed his talent right in his debut game.
Since then, he has taken great strides in his career and evolved as one of the specialists of the modern day game. His fielding skills are still unmatched and his batting performance on several occasions was historic.
