4,600 Engineers and MBAs Apply for 14 Sweepers Job, postgraduates and graduates were also in the race to get a job as there were 14 open spots for a sweeper’s job in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Secretariat.

Engineer and MBA graduates were fighting for the 10 vacancies of sweepers and 4 vacancies of sanitary workers.

The Tamil Nadu Assembly Secretariat sought the applications on September 26, 2018.

The only requirement for the job opening was that every candidate should have a fully working body. The applicant should be older than 18 years old.

4,607 applications were received by the Tamil Nadu Assembly Secretariat. 677 applications were rejected as they did not meet the eligibility criteria for the job opening.
