Apple’s high-end iPhone models are some of the most expensive smartphones you can buy. The mobile manufacturers are coming up with new models of smartphones having newly added features on a regular basis in order to attract customers but there is no doubt that buying an iPhone is a dream of many Indian smartphone users which goes unfulfilled due to its high price.
But, one who has the craze for iPhone will never think about the premium prices. In fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that India is one of the most expensive countries when it comes to buying iPhones. Recently, iPhone 8 and 8 plus have been launched on 29th September while iPhone X will be launched on November 3.
Currently, the number one Indian Telecom provider Reliance Jio has already presented pre-booking offers on the latest iPhones with 10,000 cashback, 70% buyback and a new tariff plan with it. Jio’s counterpart Bharti Airtel is trying to leave no stone unturned. Thus, Airtel is offering the iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777 through its newly launched online store. Yes, it’s true.
The 32GB version of the iPhone 7 is available at a down payment of Rs 7,777 and 24 monthly installments of Rs 2499. The monthly installments will include a special postpaid plan which offers 30 GB data, unlimited calling (local, STD, national roaming), and Airtel Secure package that covers the device against any physical damage and offers cyber protection.
Buyers can also avail of facilities like instant credit verification and financing, and bundled monthly plans at the company’s store. The company plans to soon add other premium smartphones to its store.
Other than the iPhone 7, the online store will be selling the iPhone 7 Plus, the one with a bigger display and a dual-camera setup. The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus is available for Rs 17,300, while the 128GB model can be purchased for Rs 26,000. Both smartphones come with the Rs 2499 plan, and they will be covered under the free handset damage protection program.
Airtel’s Online Store launch is part of its Project Next, the company’s digital innovation program aimed at transforming customer experience across all of its services and touch points.
In a statement, Airtel said that it plans to invest up to Rs 2,000 crore under Project Next.
An integrated digital platform, Airtel Online Store aims to make it easier for customers to upgrade to high-end smartphones, without the constraint of high put-down prices and cumbersome financing schemes.
At the moment, the online store services are currently available to customers in 21 cities across India. The telco has partnered with Apple, HDFC Bank, Clix Capital, Seynse Technologies, Brightstar Telecommunications and Vulcan Express to enable the digital experience on its Online Store.
