Samsung Unveiled Galaxy Note 5 in India – Price, Specs & Features

Samsung, the most popular Electronics has finally unveiled its next iteration of Note series namely the Galaxy Note 5 in India today at an event, i.e., on September 7 2015. The company has launched this Galaxy Note 5 smartphone which is regarded as the latest series smartphone in their line of ultra-large phablets that comes with the S Pen stylus. The newly launched Samsung Note 5 will be made available in India from September 20 in three variant colors – Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colors. The smartphone was initially unveiled across the world in the month of August.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is launched in India in two storage variants which are priced as follows:

  • Galaxy Note 5 – 32GB variant priced at Rs 53,900
  • Galaxy Note 5 –  64GB variant is priced at Rs 59,900 

Specs & Features of Galaxy Note 5

  • The newly unveiled smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is packed with a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixel and a 518 ppi pixel density.
  • The device is powered by an Exynos 7420 processor which is paired with 4GB RAM.
  • It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI on the top.
  • In terms of storage, the device comes in two variants: 32GB and 64GB. (No expandable memory support via microSD card).
  • The phablet is equipped with a 16-megapixel f/1.9 rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and supplemented with a 5-megapixel front camera.
  • It comes with a long and improved S Pen stylus which has an Auto Eject feature that enables a button to pop out the stylus for multi-tasking.

  • The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is powered by a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery that can get a full charge in 2 hours with a wireless charger and in 90 using a wired charger. But the wireless will not be packed along with the phone.

The company provided an offer that the customers who pre-book the device will be received a free wireless charger and also free screen replacement for one year. The new device comes with a narrower bezel and curved back that can easily fit in one hand.
