Instagram Finally Launched It’s Most Awaited Group Video Chat Feature
The feature that most us were waiting for is finally launched by Instagram today. This Group video chat feature is now available for everyone, and it’s fantastic.
Last month at Facebook’s F8 conference they gave a quick look at this feature and also promised that it would come soon to our devices. Finally, this group video chat feature is included in the Instagram recent update.
Instagram’s Group Video Chat Overview
This group video chat feature is just fantastic and is also easy to use. Now in your chat section, you’ll see a camera icon at the right top corner. You just need to click on that icon, and your video call will be started.
This feature supports upto 4 people at once which is a con. If your group has more members than 4 people then only first 4 people who joined the call can talk together.
Camera icon in your chat action will turn into blue color during group video call which will help other group members to join an ongoing video call.
You can also minimize your ongoing group video call to browse the Instagram. Now let’s talk about the privacy factors of this new feautre. When it was first announced lot’s of people were afraid and had only one question that ‘Who can call you?’. Now, here is your answer, People who are your friends on Instagram can call you which means that if you are following someone and he is also following you back, then you can join a group video call with him.
Along with this feature, there are also few more features has been added in a new update. Instagram’s explorer tab has also been redesigned completely which makes it easier to browse through posts. You can now easily find posts according to your interest by just selecting the categories.
New custom AR filters have also been added in this update along with the entirely new IGTV feature which will allow you to watch longer and vertical videos from your Instagram creators.
