ZTE, the Chinese Telecommunications Equipment company has launched three new Blade series smartphones namely Blade X3, Blade X5 and Blade X9 with decent technical specifications. After launching Blade S7 smartphone in Shanghai last week, now the company has launched three new mid-range handsets with 4G LTE support. The Chinese smartphone maker seems to expand its reach in the Russian market with the launch of these three smartphones. The trio includes the various segments of the mid-range market, targeting to bring loads of excitement for your buck.
Specifications of ZTE Blade X9
Let us have a look at the specifications of ZTE Blade X9 smartphone. Blade X9 is the most interesting smartphone among the three smartphones with an impressive bunch of specs. The ZTE Blade X9 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution IPS display. The device measures 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.55 mm and weighs 160 grams. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, coupled with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. It is a dual-SIM card supporting LTE-enabled smartphone with Indian LTE band support that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating system.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of Storage, the smartphone has a 16GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the connectivity front, the Blade X9 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The ZTE Blade X5 sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 clocked at 1.3GHz which is paired with 1GB RAM. The device measures 142×70.4×8.9mm and weighs 129 grams. On the storage front, the smartphone houses 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The ZTE Blade X5 comes with a 13-megapxiel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device supports 4G LTE. On the connectivity front, the handset supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB. The handset is backed by a 2400mAh battery. The sensors used in Blade X5 are similar to the Blade X9 smartphone.
Specifications of ZTE Blade Z3
The ZTE Blade X3 features almost the same specifications as the Blade X5, but there are slight variations in the camera resolution, CPU, and battery. The handset features a 5-inch display with a 1080 x 720-pixel screen resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. The smartphone measures 145×71.5×8.9mm and weighs 160.9 grams. The device is powered by a quad-core 1 GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor, a Mali 400 GPU paired with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an internal storage of 8 GB.
The ZTE Blade X3 is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera. One of the amazing highlights of Blade X3 is that it has a gigantic 4000 mAh battery that has the ability to charge other devices. The smartphone discards the fingerprint sensor.
Price and Availability
All the three smartphones are listed on the Russian website. The ZTE Blade X9 carries a price of RUB 17,990 (roughly Rs. 18,400) which is considered as the costliest phone among the three handsets. The Blade X5 smartphone is priced at RUB 10,990 (approximately Rs. 11,200) while the Blade X3 is a mid-range smartphone priced at RUB 8,990 (approximately Rs. 9,200). The company has not yet spoken a word regarding the availability of the three smartphones in other regions.
