A World War II Air Force veteran just turned 103 years old recently and the daily routine that he has is helping him live longer.
The veteran says the secret to a long life is drinking beer, yes, beer.
At 4 pm every day, Andrew Slavonic, the elderly man, sits down and enjoys a can of his favorite beer, Coors Light.
The man started to drink beer in 1996 and since that day, he has never stopped.
Bob Slavonic, the son of Andrew, said that his father got to taste their first Coors Light beer in that year and has never missed one.
During an interview with Fox News, Bob said:
At his 103 age, he is still drinking his daily Coors Light. I really think that is what is keeping him going so long. In 1996, he actually started drinking regular Coors beer. He switched to Coors Light beer about 15 years ago. I think I am the one to blame for the switch because that is all that I have been drinking for about the past 25 years.
The best thing about this is that the beer company knows that Andrew loves their beer and they did something about it.
After getting to hear the love for their beer, the company sent the elderly vet his very own Coors Light fridge, which was stocked with beers and a number of merchandise products.
Andrew was also flown out to the Coors Molson headquarters.
On December 1, 2020, Andrew celebrated his 103rd birthday.
Fellow veterans practiced social distancing and surprised him with a small little party.
I’ll be back, I’ll just buy some beer.
