USA: 12-year-old Brayden Cooper-Douglas passed out and died while he was riding a popular rollercoaster ride in Indiana.
The incident happened on June 27, 2019, when 12-year-older brayden boarded the Indiana famous Hoosier Hurricane Ride at the Indiana Beach.
During the ride, Brayden became ill and when medical responders came to him, he passed out and did not regain consciousness.
After some time, Brayden was pronounced as dead by the medical responders.
An autopsy was also done on Brayden, but it is still confusing the investigating officers about what caused his death.
According to Tony Deivel of the White Country Coroner, “Based on all information known to me at this time, I have no determination as to the cause of death of Brayden Cooper.”
Tony added that the autopsy report said no trauma, injury, toxins, or congenital abnormalities were seen.
Tony and Bill Brooks, the Sheriff of White County, said that Brayden had a medical emergency that was not caused by the Hoosier Hurricane Ride or the Indiana Beach.
The Indiana Beach released a statement about the tragic death of Brayden Cooper, they said, “We are deeply saddened by the incident and our thoughts and prayers are with the guest’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“The safety of our guests is our first priority. We, along with local and state authorities, performed a thorough inspection of this attraction following the incident. The attraction was determined to be safe and reopened to the public. We have no other comments at this time.”
The parents of Brayden, Shaeley Cooper, and Matthew Douglas haven’t released a statement about the ruling that was announced by the coroner.
Shaeley and Matthew have filed a lawsuit against the Apex Parks Group, the Apex Parks Group owns the amusement park at the Indiana Beach.
Last month, Shaeley Cooper and Matthew Douglas said that Brayden was healthy before the ride.
The lawsuit that is filed by the parents of Brayden says that the amusement park’s “negligence was the proximate cause of the fatal injuries”.
