Brisbane, Australia: 2 kids were in shock when they saw a 5 foot python slithering down from their bathroom ceiling while they were brushing their teeth.
The 2 kids managed to get out of the bathroom safely and called out help from their parents.
The family then called a snake catcher who managed to remove the snake without causing any damage.
The family called in Bryce Lockett, a snake catcher, who rushed to the Brisbane house to remove the 5-foot python.
Bryce, the snake catcher, said snakes are really common in Australia and says one out of three homes in Australia have snakes living in their roofs.
Bryce has been catching snakes for 7 years now.
He said, “I’ve been catching snakes for about seven years now, I’ve seen them all in various situations. People are generally quite terrified of them but I’ve owned snakes my whole life so I’m not too fazed. Carpet pythons are nocturnal and coldblooded, which is why this one must have slithered down to enjoy the heat of the lamp – they’re harmless but they don’t like to be disturbed.”
Bryce shared the pictures of the 5-foot python on his social media account.
Luckily, Bryce managed to remove the 5-foot python from the bathroom ceiling without harming the animal.
Bryce said he released the snake in a creek near the area.
