On Friday, 2 people were killed and 3 were injured after lightning struck their office, located in Dumka, Jharkhand.

YS Ramesh, the Superintendent of Police, said that the incident happened when the 5 men were sleeping together in an office room in Pinargadia village.

Officer Ramesh added that 2 people were killed in the incident and 3 were injured.

The 3 injured men have been taken to the Rampurhaat Hospital, which is located in West Bengal.

SP Ramesh added that the bodies of the 2 men have been handed over to their relatives.
