Good things happen to people that wait for the right moment to shine with the light that the man from up above sets on us.
Danielle Franzoni, who was once homeless, left Detroit because she wanted to start a new life in Northern Michigan and now, she is.
The 31-year-old woman moved to Alpena and settled into a homeless shelter so she could stay sober as she once had an opioid addiction.
Right now, Franzoni is working as a waitress and is 2 years sober.
Earlier this year, Franzoni was working her Sunday shift at the Thunder Bay River Restaurant, when 2 regulars gave her the surprise that she had never imagined before.
The couple left a tip that made her burst into tears.
With the bill of $23.33, the couple left a tip along with a note that read: “Danielle… Happy New Year… ‘2020’ Tip Challenge.”
During an interview with Franzoni, she said she was just shocked when the incident happened.
The kind woman said:
They don’t know where I’ve come from, they don’t know how hard it’s been. They’re really just doing this out of the kindness of their heart.
When she was asked what she wants to do with the money that she had got, Franzoni, a mother of 3 kids, said that she wants to use the money to get a driver’s license.
She also just had moved into a new house.
Franzoni said that she was just wanted to have a license because it’s the only thing that she never had.
With the bulk of money, she said that she wants to build a good future for her kids.
For her, the kids that she has is the reason why she is continuously working hard.
To celebrate the tip that she got, she also left a $20.20 tip for her server.
For her future dreams, the kind woman said that she wants to open a sobriety house for women and children that are going through the things that she had once gone through in life.
