Three railway officials were killed after a Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express train hit a maintenance tower car in Rajagada, Odisha on June 25, 2019.
The 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express train hit the tower car when it was inspecting the Keutguda and Singapur route in Rajagada, Odisha.
The train had 148 passengers onboard.
Officials said none of the passengers sustained injuries during the accident.
The Railway authorities have also suspended on-duty station masters of Singapur Road Cabin, Keutguda, and Sinagpur Road.
The Commissioner of the Railway Safety has also ordered an inquiry.
An ambulance and a fire truck were also sent to the accident site.
Senior officials from Visakhapatnam were also called in.
Officials have released the identities of the deceased.

Officials also had to call in two buses so they could transport the passengers back to Jagdalpur.
The 148 passengers of the train were provided food during the arrangements were being made.
The 18005 Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express has been brought back to Rayagada.
Officials will be investigating the matter and will submit a report to the Railway Safety board.
