61 Students from the Telangana Minorities Residential Girls School were rushed to a hospital on Thursday after they became ill, reports say that they fell ill after consuming the breakfast that was provided by their residential school.
According to sources, the girls ate “Bondas” for their breakfast. Just after a couple of minutes, the girls started to vomit and felt pain in their stomachs. 61 girls were rushed to the Asra Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Reports suggest that the management of the school failed to check the food before they served it to the students.
61 students were transferred to Asra Hospital for their medical treatments, officials say that all of them are now in a stable condition. Some of the students have been discharged from the hospital.
Amber Kishore Jha, a senior police officer said that they received a piece of information about students who fell ill after they ate the breakfast that was provided by their school. After the local police officers reached the school, they decided to bring the students to Asra Hospital for their medical treatment.
The Telangana Minorities Residential Schools were made as part of the state governments’ minority development plan.
