8-Year-Old Girl Donates 600lbs Of Pet Food To Washington Animal Shelter

An 8-year-old girl has donated nearly 600lbs of pet food to an animal shelter for Christmas 2019.

8-year-old Landyn Wadsworth asked her parents if she could have money to buy pet food for the animals that are living in the Tri-Cities Animal Shelter in Pasco, Washington.

Landyn went to buy 600lbs of food and donated it to the animal shelter.

The Tri-Cities Animal Shelter shared a photograph of Landyn bringing the animal food, which is around 600lbs.

The Tri-Cities Animal Shelter shared the donation and a picture of Landyn on Facebook.

The post said, “Landon’s wish for Christmas was food donations for the shelter and it looks like her wish came true!! We are so grateful for your kindness and I’m sure the dogs and cats are too!!”

The girl managed to buy 600lbs of food for the shelter’s residents.

Alisha, the mother of Landyn, said the youngster started to make donations like these in 2016.

This makes this year’s donations as her third year.

Alisha also shared the incident on Facebook.

Her post said, “This little lady made her Christmas wish come true. She donated over 600lbs of quality food to the animal shelter. She wanted the animals taken care of and this will definitely help with that. Merry Christmas.”

Landyn is also planning for her 2020 campaign.
