In Canada, the government has declared that Santa Claus is an essential worker and almost everyone in the country is loving it.

Christmas is around the corner, and everyone in the country was left amazed after the government announced that Santa Clause is an essential worker.

This means they will be allowed to roam around during this pandemic and will be working to make everyone happy.

The news was announced by the Chief Public Health Officer of the country, Dr. Theresa Tam.

The news was announced through a video, where Dr. Tam was seen speaking to Santa in a virtual conversation.

Tam was heard telling Santa Claus that they are now an essential worker and they will perform all their duties during this pandemic.

Tam added: “Parents, Santa, and I had a call to discuss the Christmas eve plan, and don’t worry- he is cleared as an essential worker in Canada.”

At the end of the video, Santa Claus was heard reminding everyone that’s watching the video to follow the necessary precautions.

People that watched the video were really happy with the new announcement.
