A hilarious moment was caught on cam, when a burglar, who managed to break inside a car, realized he was being recorded by a dashcam.
Last week, a woman from Beaverton, Oregon, discovered that her car door was open in the parking lot of her apartment building.
Upon checking out the dashcam footage, she saw something that surprised her a lot.
The woman realized that her “motion-activated” dashcam caught a burglar in the act while he was trying to steal things inside the car.
The woman, who didn’t want his identity to be shared with the public, said, “It starts recording without any light but, after 10 seconds, the light comes on and he was startled — him and his friends.”
The video shows the burglar shocked after he realized that he was being recorded.
The owner of the car said the dashcam starts to record when it sees something is moving inside the car.
The woman said 10 seconds into the video, the burglar realized that he was being filmed.
Owlcam, the dashcam that was installed in her car, only cost the woman $350.
She said it was worth every penny.
Luckily, nothing was stolen from the car.
The Beaverton police said 2 people have filed complaints about car break-ins in the area during night time.
Well, someone’s going to be on the internet for a while.
