A woman was caught on cam being abducted by masked men away from her mother in St. Petersburg of Russia.
In the video, the men could be seen dragging away the bride from her mother and dragged her to a vehicle.
According to reports, the incident happened on the afternoon of Wednesday (April 22, 2020) in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Door security camera footage outside an apartment block shows the moment a man and 2 other assailants getting out of a black saloon and abducting a young woman on the street.
The woman reportedly screamed for help and her mother tried to stop the men from kidnapping her daughter, but the other assailants stepped in and stopped the mother.
The group then dragged the woman into her car and drove away.
A man could also be seen coming out from the residential block and running after the car.
After an investigation was launched, the police detained a 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman.
The 2 were found in the town of Tikhvin, which is located 3 hours away from St. Petersburg, Russia.
The man, whose identity was not shared with the public, reportedly kidnapped the same woman earlier this year.
It is said that the family of the woman had reported the incident earlier to the police, but they did not press charges because they gave a verbal warning to the man.
The kidnapper said that the incident was part of a traditional abduction of the bride.
