Chris Evans To Send “Captain America” Shield To 6-Year-Old Boy Who Saved Sister From Dog

Chris Evans, the actor who plays Captain America, sent a video message to 6-year-old Bridget Walker, who saved his 4-year-old sister from a dog attack.

The 6-year-old boy was badly injured and got over 90 stitches on his face after a 2-hour surgery.

In the video message that was shared on social media by the aunt of Walker, Evans could be heard saying:

Captain America here, so I read your story, I saw what you did and I’m sure you heard a lot of this over the last couple days, but let me be the next one to tell you, pal, you’re a hero, what you did was so brave, so selfless, your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you. I’m going to track down your address and I’m going to send you an authentic Captain America shield because pal, you deserve it.

Walker went viral on social media earlier this year after he saved his little sister from a dog attack.

When the father of Walker asked him why he jumped in between his sister and the dog, he said:  “if someone had to die, I thought it should be me”.

Not only Evans, but other celebrities have reached out to the boy.

Anne Hathaway said:

I’m not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one. I can only hope I’m half as brave in my life as you are in yours, Bridger. Wishing you an easeful recovery, and many cool looking rocks. Hey @markruffalo, do you need a teammate??

It is reported that Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman, Zachary Levi, the Russo brothers, and Robbie Amell are some of the celebrities that have reached out to the young boy.
