Marijuana users in the streets of Tel Aviv, Israel, this week were lucky because someone in the city dropped hundreds of bags of free marijuana with the help of drones.
According to reports, free marijuana buds were dropped from the skies over Rabin Square by a drone and it caused people to rush onto busy roads to get theirs.
It is reported that hundreds of packages were found in the square.
The Green Drones have taken full responsibility over the incident.
On a web messaging channel, the company released a statement about their stunt, where they said:
It’s time my dear brothers. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the green drone, handing out free cannabis from the sky… Enjoy my beloved brothers, this is your pilot brother, making sure we all get some free love.
2 people in their 30s have been arrested over the marijuana stunt.
It is said that the company was trying to advertise their weed delivery service.
They are also planning to do another mass marijuana drop of their products in the near future.
The company has admitted that the coronavirus pandemic has made them to think outside the box and come up with new ways to get marijuana to their customers.
The company is currently promising to rain marijuana all over the city once every week.
As of now, marijuana is still illegal in the country and is only permitted in limited circumstances of medicinal purposes.
