21-year-old Patrick Crusius, the gunner of the El Paso Walmart Shooting, said that he targeted Mexicans during the open fire.
Patrick open fired inside El Paso Walmart with an AK-47 that he bought legally.
An arrest warrant affidavit was obtained by the Washington Post and it says that Patrick confessed the crime to the police and admitted that his primary targets during the open fire were Mexicans.
Patrick fled the crime scene and was arrested by the police after he told a police officer that he is the shooter.
20 minutes before the shooting happened, Patrick posted a manifesto on an online forum and said that the shooting was a response to the Hispanic invasion.
Patrick traveled to El Paso to carry out the shooting that killed 22 people and wounded over 20 people.
8 out of the 22 people that were killed in the El Paso shooting were Mexicans.
It is reported that the mother of Patrick even called the police to tell them about the plan of her son to buy a rifle from a retail establishment or an online shop.
The news was confirmed by the lawyers of the Crusius family.
The call was made on June 27 and was received by the Allen Police Department.
Sgt. Jon Felty of the Allen Police Department said, “She was concerned about her son buying a weapon online or at a retail establishment.”
Patrick was 20-years-old when the call was made.
The El Paso police confirmed that Crusius purchased his rifle legally.
