George Floyd Protester Left With Hole In Head After Being Shot By Police With Rubber Bullets

A 23-year-old US woman was left with a gaping hole in her head after the police shot her with a rubber bullet at a George Floyd protest in the United States of America.

23-year-old Shannyn Sharyse Nara was shot by armed police officers as he was protesting the death of George Floyd, an African-American that got killed at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department on May 25, 2020.

The incident happened on Saturday when Shannyn attended a “Black Lives Matter Protest”, which she broadcasted live to her Facebook page.

In the video, Shannyn and her friends chanted against the police officers, who were repeatedly asking them to get back.

The group appears to be quite a distance from the police, but shortly after Shannyn got shot, the footage became unclear.

Pictures that she shared later showed the injuries of Shannyn.

The woman ended up having a huge hole on her forehead after the incident.

While sharing the images on Facebook, she said:

My photo is being shared on Facebook so I guess I’ll go ahead and make my post. As many of you saw last night I protested and at the end of one my videos you can see the after math of me taking a rubber bullet or something straight to the head. You can also see that I was not aggressive, I was not looting, I was not breaking anything. I was simply recording. I knew the possibilities of what could happen when I decided to be there last night. My forehead has a chunk out of it and the doctors couldn’t even stitch it because of the debris. My right eye is swollen and took an hour before I could open it. Both of my eyes are messed up from debris that got trapped in them and I have to use numbing drops just to be able to open them.

When she was asked to join the protests again, she said “no questions asked”.

When asked why she said because police brutality is worse than her injuries.

Kim Kardashian, a famous celebrity, got to know about the incident is offering help to Nara.

Kim K said:

This is heartbreaking and so disturbing. Does anyone know how I can get in contact with her? I would love to help her with her medical care if she needs it.

Nara also posted the pictures to Twitter, where they quickly spread.
