A lorry driver is currently being hailed as a hero for stopping his truck under a bridge when a girl was trying to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge.
The unidentified woman was seen on a bridge at the N7 near Dublin on Friday.
Commuters were traveling under the bridge, but one lorry driver saw that something was wrong when he saw the woman on the bridge.
Keith Dunne, a passerby, saw the driver park the truck underneath the bridge to stop her from jumping off the bridge.
Keith said the woman was going to jump, but luckily the lorry stopped.
Keith added, “Truck parked under the bridge so if she falls it’s onto his trailer and people can quickly help”
He continued, “Well done and quick thinking trucker.”
Whereabouts of the driver of the truck and the woman in the picture are still not known.
Good thing is that the truck driver arrived on time and went on to stop the truck under the bridge, preventing the woman to commit suicide.

A person said, “What a fast thinking and very courageous lorry driver. Well done mate.”
Another user said, “Very sad times when you contemplate ending your life like this, let’s hope she can get help. Also well done to the truck driver who probably saved her life.”
