Home Minister’s Office releases Revised List Of The Most Wanted Terrorists In Jammu and Kashmir
The main priority of Amit Shah, the new Union Home Minister, is to eradicate terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir, as part of its plan, the government of India has released the complete list of the most wanted terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
The lists consists of terrorists from groups such as the Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Al Badr,
The list was made based on the Intel that was shared by the Ministry of Jammu and Kashmir Police, the CRPF, and the Intelligence Bureau of India.
6 out of the 10 most wanted terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir are from the terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen, two are from Jaish-e-Mohammad, and one from Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Al Badr.
Wasim Ahmed, also Known as Osama, the Let Chief, and Riyaz Naikoo, the Hizbul Mujahideen Commander are both listed in the most wanted list of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mohammad Asraf Khan, a commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen, Mehraj-ud-Din a commander, Dr. Saifulla, Arshad-ul-Haq, and Ajaj Ahmad Malik are all listed on the list.
The most wanted list also writes down the name of Javed Matoo, who is also known as Faisal, Musab, Shakid, he is the District Commander of Al Badar in the northern part of Kashmir.
Zaheed Sheikh, who is also known as Omar Afghani, of the JeM and Hafiz Umar, the chief operational commander of JeM, is also mentioned on the list.
The new list was made by the Home Ministers office.
The updated list was released after the June 1 meeting of the Home Minister with Governor Satya Pal Malik, Ajit Doval the National Security Adviser, Rajiv Gauba the Home Secretary, Rajiv Jain the IB Chief, Anil Dhasmana the RAW Chief, and officials from the Home Ministries office.
