Kishore Jain, a businessman in New Delhi, was arrested by the Delhi Police for setting his fire on fire over an argument.

The Delhi police said that Kishore Jain tried to make the death of his wife look like an accident, but his daughter, who is 17-years-old, saw the entire incident and reported it to the police.

Officials said that Kishore Jain was addicted in Gambling, he lived with Rachna, his wife, and his 3 kids.

The police added that Rachna and Kishore usually got into arguments due to his gambling addiction, and on May 17, 2019, Kishore poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.

Trying to save her mother, the 17-year-old daughter also attained burn injuries on her.

After the incident, Kishore Jain ran away from their house.

An FIR was then registered under the Indian Penal Code section 302.

The police said that Kishore Jain bought a new SIM Card and went to Panchkula, where he was hiding.

He then came to New Delhi and stayed at a guest house in Lajwanti Garden Area, where he was arrested.

Kishore Jain has been sent to judicial custody.
