Jammu and Kashmir News: A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped by a driver and a conductor before she was gang raped in the district of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir.
The police said that they have arrested a man that is involved in the case and has launched a probe for the case.
The father of the girl filed a complaint against the conductor and the driver of a bus, he said that the duo had kidnapped his 15-year-old daughter on Saturday when she was going to do some work in their village.
The father lived in the area of Thanamandi.
The father also said that the 2 men took his daughter to Rajouri in their vehicle and then back to their village on Sunday night where they gang-raped her.
An official said, “Taking note of the complaint, a case under various sections of the Ranbir Penal Code, including kidnapping and gang rape, and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act was registered and an investigation started.”
The police official added that they have arrested one of the men and have seized the said vehicle.
The police are currently trying to nab the other person who is said to be involved in the rape.
