Man Live-Streams Himself Crashing Car On An Exit Ramp

A 23-year-old man from Connecticut, USA, live-streamed himself on Facebook crashing his vehicle on an exit ramp.

The Connecticut State Police shared a video of the incident and it shows the driver weaving in and out of traffic on a highway at high speed.

At one point in the video, the man in the video points the camera to the speedometer of his car. The video shows him traveling at over 100 miles per hour, which is over 160 kilometers per hour.

As the vehicle tried to exit the highway ramp, he lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle shows the car rollover as it crashes.

23-year-old Kenneth Hofler, the man in the video, survived the crash without any serious injuries.

In a report that was published by ABC News, the accident took place over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge on Saturday.

When the accident happened, a police officer was following him.

In a statement that was released by the police, they said, “The operator of this vehicle was kind enough to publicly live stream himself traveling over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge while driving at reckless speeds prior to being involved in an accident.”

The statement added, “Thankfully, this operator was wearing his seatbelt, or they could have suffered serious injuries. Please slow down and drive safely.”

Reports suggest that 23-year-old Hofler took down a 40 feet guardrail when the accident happened.

He was arrested by the police after he climbed out of the wreckage.

Hofler has been charged with reckless driving, driving an uninsured car, driving with a suspended license, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, and making an improper turn.
