The monsoon has arrived, and wildlife experts and health experts are getting ready for snakes showing up and are getting ready for snake bite cases.
Snakes usually come out from their homes during the rainy seasons as rain fills out their holes.
And this is what exactly happened in Nagaon, Assam.
Local farmers of the Nagaon District in Assam spotted a massive king cobra roaming around the forests earlier this week.
The locals decided to report the incident to a local snake catcher, who started to find the snake right away.
Locals said that they saw the snake first at the Jiajuri Tea Estate in Nagaon on Friday.
The snake was so big that it caused panic amongst local residents.
Binod Borah, a snake catcher, managed to find and catch the 14-foot long King Cobra and brought it to the Suwang Reserve Forest that is located near the Jiajuri Tea Estate.
The locals and the snake catcher have received a ton of positive reaction for not killing and harming the snake throughout the process.
