A family, who were in Bali, Indonesia for a trip, probably got one of the best selfies ever taken with an animal when the family visited the famous Ubud Monkey Forest.
37-year-old Judy, 36-year-old Simon, and their 3 children 13-year-old Elijah, 11-year-old Jimmy, and 8-year-old Kayleigh decided to go on a one day trip to the Monkey Forest, the forest is home to more than 700 monkeys.
When the family asked a local tour guide to take a picture of them, a monkey decided to photobomb them and did something no one was expecting.
The monkey decided to flip out his middle finger….
The family is from Australia’s Sunshine Coast.
Judy explained what happened, she said, “We were only in Bali for a week and thought it would be fun to go on a day tour around Bali. As part of the tour, we went to the monkey forest. I thought it would be a fun experience. While we were there, a guide offered to take our photo. But as he did, a monkey suddenly came in front of the camera. The guide had peanuts in his hand and then began feeding him. It was really funny.”
The family said that the monkey made their entire trip a “better” one.
I mean, I would have flipped out my middle finger too, but Judy was with her kids, good job Judy.
She added, “As I was flicking through the photos afterwards, I noticed that in one of them the monkey was actually giving us the finger. I showed my husband and we both started laughing. We thought it was hilarious. The monkey definitely had a cheeky persona going on. We had such a great time there and these funny photos made it even better.”
Judy also shared the picture of the monkey on her Facebook and Instagram accounts.
She said that her family members and her friends said that the pictures were hilarious.
Judy added, “I posted the photo to my Facebook and Instagram and all my family and friends thought it was hilarious. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip, and the photo itself is something we can look back on to remember forever. Bali is such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to go back one day.”
The family went to Bali in December 2018, but they shared the hilarious photos of the monkey for the first time this week.
