A 35-year-old security guard used his licensed revolver to kill his 4-year-old daughter and wife before committing suicide, officials said that the incident happened in Ladpur, Haryana.

The dead bodies of 35-year-old Dinesh Kumar, his wife, and his 4-year-old daughter were found by the brother of Dinesh when he went to their house on June 1, 2019.

A suicide note was also recovered from the crime scene, officials added that the note said that Dinesh Kumar was responsible for the death of his family.

Ashok Kumar, a senior police officer of the Jhajjar Police, said Dinesh Kumar used his licensed revolver in the shooting.

Officer Kumar added that the police have launched a probe for the said incident.

The bodies of Dinesh Kumar, his wife, and his 4-year-old daughter have been sent for an autopsy.

The police are trying to investigate why Dinesh Kumar killed his family and committed suicide.
